The work plan of the research project is composed of 7 individual Workpackages (WP).

WP1. Clinical data collection

WP1.1. Collection and digital recording of the clinical data that will be used as input variables for the AI algorithm.

WP1.2. Development of a digital questionnaire to assess the level of acceptance of the AI tool among doctors and patients.

WP1.3. Publicity and dissemination activities

WP1.4. A cooperation contract defining responsibilities and methods for resolving possible conflicts among CIC members

WP2. Μanagement and security of personal data

WP2.1. Development of anonymization methods and techniques to securely input data into AI algorithm according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

WP2.2. Development of privacy and/or consent statements to achieve transparent information for participants

WP3. Statistical analysis of clinical data

Statistical analysis of the clinical data in order to investigate possible correlations and determine the prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors.

WP4. Development of the cardiovascular risk prediction algorithm

WP4.1. Processing of the clinical data into an suitable format for feeding the AI algorithm (data processing module-DPM)

WP4.2. Data analysis and investigation using statistical tools for the selection of the appropriate AI algorithm

WP4.3. Development of the cardiovascular risk prediction model with supervised machine learning techniques

WP4.4. Training, validation and optimization (hyper parameter tuning) of the cardiovascular risk prediction model

Design of a comprehensive communication strategy aiming in defining dissemination channels in order to exploit all available communication channels for the promotion and future commercial exploitation of the project.
