The School of Medicine was founded in 1837. Throughout its 184 years of operation, it has consistently provided superior education and performed research that places it among the top 150 medical schools in the world. The School maintains a total of 86 University Clinics and Laboratories that provide high-quality health services on a daily basis.
Mediterraneo Hospital
It is a General Private Hospital that aims to provide quality health services, continuous staff training and the development and promotion of health research. In the field of Cardiology, Mediterraneo has research participation in local and multicentre studies in the fields of coronary artery disease, heart failure and medical imaging.

The company HealthCare IT possesses a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the functions and processes of healthcare information technology organizations, providing high-quality services and solutions in the field of healthcare informatics. The company focuses on continuous improvement and management of changes in information systems and applications, integration of new functionalities, application testing, as well as providing consulting and support services in healthcare informatics to ensure the smooth operation of healthcare organizations.
The Heart Center
The Heart Center provides all the services of contemporary clinical and interventional cardiology with an extensive cardiac patient registry. Its research activity includes the study of coronary circulation and infarction, indications for angioplasty, the application of nanotechnology methods in cardiology and the study of arrhythmias, which is documented in more than 350 scientific publications.

RayMed is operating in the field of Medical Physics and Medical Informatics. The company has been involved in the production of specific software solutions such as medical image digitization and processing and the development of applications for iOS mobile devices. Its research interests include the use of AI algorithms for the processing of health data of any format, including images.

The company’s objective is to offer comprehensive project management and implementation services and the development of specialized applications. Altsol is active in business and research in the field of semantic data while specializing in big data management.
